  • The original, b/w "Night of the Living Dead" was awesome. No other zombie movie compares... \n\n

  • Both Dawn of the Dead movies are superior, in my opinion. At least as zombie movies, maybe not as horror. \n\n
  • Couch Potato (2006-04-04 23:05 ID:rSRoehoM )
  • zombies are cool but dawn of the dead was BORING. it wasn't bad enough to be funny, but not good enough to be good. \n\n

  • Anyone from Halifax Nova Scotia know where to get Bloodsucking Freaks. I Google'd for screenshots and it had the most coious amounts of blood and nubile women I have ever witnessed. \n\n

  • Heh, I actually find Asian horrors not scary at all so far. Quite odd, but they really aren't scary. I liked One Missed Call <Chakushin Ari>, becouse it had quite an interesting story. Kairo could have been a bit better - wonder what the remake is going to be like... \n\n

  • I watched The Descent recently (with the original ending). It wasn't SUPER scary (a theatre atmosphere probably would have helped in that department), but it was very interesting. I recommend it. \n\n

  • Doctor Sleep was good. I thought it was pretty dumbed-down compared to Kubrick's Shining, but that made it enjoyable for stupid people like me. \n\n

  • I watched the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre recently, and it easily became my favorite. \n\n

  • I liked "The Shining". \n\n >>31
  • I should make an effort to watch that. \n\n

  • I thought that movie had some great thrilling moments, but ultimately the plot was very weak. I just saw 28 Years Later and again, there, were some great and thrilling moments but the whole plot and several scenes were just whacky. There's a weird psychoanalytic 'death of the father' subtext Danny Boyle is going for and its just stupid. Also, pro-euthanasia propaganda. \n\n

  • In the Mouth of Madness is a totally underappreciated Carpenter classic. campy in all the right ways and a fun ride all the way to the end \n\n
