- ### Viewing Thread #66 ###
- meta thread: all things phorum/gopherden. I will post news here, but feel free to post comments and suggestions, bugs, etc.
- ---Reply #96
- @95 which links where? on phorum?
- ---Reply #67
- I will fix the issue with posting gopher links soon.
- ---Reply #68
- I noticed people keep replying to the wrong thread
- ---Reply #77
- I just updated the software. Gopher links should work well now.
- ---Reply #78
- Can you give a verbose example, I assumed it would be like "1floodgap<tab>/<tab>floodgap.com<tab>70<literal newline, how to even type a CRLF>"
- ---Reply #79
- >68 I think because the reply button on the main screen is above the i nformational preview, not below it. In my case at least.
- ---Reply #80
- @someoddity Are links into phorum threads okay?
- ---Reply #82
- Somewhat related question (the option to create a new thread seems broken):
- ---Reply #83
- How does a gopher server go about signalling an error. The RFC doesn't seem to mention any kind of status code in the response.
- ---Reply #84
- Ohhhhh... I just figured it out. That's what item type 3 is for.
- ---Reply #88
- yeah I gotta brush up on the rfc because I don't really understand exactly how useful that is. I mean it's always in the context of a menu, but sometimes when an error occurs you're not expecting a menu.
- ---Reply #92
- I now understand why people reply to the wrong thread. I think these users are all using a web proxy, no?
- ---Reply #93
- ^C
- ---Reply #95
- some links are broken and point to the root
- ---Reply #97
- @78 you have to use the gopher URI spec! so like gopher://gopher.someodd.zip/1/phorum/
- ---Reply #102
- It seems that the link for posting new threads is broken. :(
